Much of my photography is an exploration of patterns.  Instinctively, we search for patterns as a means of better understanding and appreciating the world around us. 

The images I capture focus on how patterns are created in natural and man-made objects through color relationships, physical shapes and textural differences.  Some of these patterns are symmetrical or repetitive; others appear more random and unpredictable. 

By abstracting objects from their context, the viewer is invited to apply his or her imagination to the interpretation of the image.
